Our family is celebrating this day together – just the six of us. It’s quite a change from our BIG holiday shin-digs when we lived in California. I’ll be making my Grandmother’s broccoli bake, like I do every year. There will be lots of food and even an area for our kids to make ornaments. Our daughter, Grace, shared with us the other day, “I’m sad we aren’t going to have a house full of people for Thanksgiving. I liked it when we had lots of family around.”
I reminded her, “It’s only a matter of time before our home is filled again. And, the six of us will make it a day to remember!”
So, for all of you who have a table bulging at the seams, or those celebrating alone, don’t forget to whisper a prayer of thanksgiving for a Savior who died for YOU and loves you like crazy!
Wishing all of you a delightful and family-filled Thanksgiving Day!

Good early Thanksgiving morning, sweet friend. I know it’s later there, but I’m quietly poking around the kitchen this morning for coffee. My part in Thanksgiving today is making yeast rolls and desserts. In order for them to be warm and luscious, I won’t start the rolls for another couple of hours. My house is a tattered mess due to all of the catering events I’ve gotten so far this season, yet I am so blessed to have it. I wish you and your beautiful family of 6 today a warm and amazing Thanksgiving. I know God has blessed us this day immeasurably! Hugs!

I bet those yeast rolls are going to rock someone’s Thanksgiving-world! Grateful you took a minute to wish us all a happy holiday. Miss you friend. I’m not surprised you’re catering business is taking off. Lord knows He created you for just this…at just this time. Say hi to Chris for us, too! xo
