For those of you who were as excited as I was to land a radio interview with KFBK’s Kitty O’Neal, head over to my author page and check out the photos. The kids had a blast. Kitty was a sweetheart and let Grace and Samuel inside the sound booth. I made my husband stand behind me. I didn’t need him making any faces and making me laugh! Go here to listen to the interview.
Lots going on over here. Last week Paul and I dropped off media kits at local TV/Radio stations. Can I tell you how humbling it is to pitch your book twelve times in 90 degree weather? What is it about women glowing when they perspire? I don’t buy it. Still, God was faithful and opened quite a few doors.
I’ll be filling you in more about that later.
The book launch party on Friday night was spectacular. Talk about fun! I never in a million years would have thought it would be so much fun, but it was. We had over one hundred people celebrate with our family. I signed books for three hours. When it comes to support, this mom-author has the best family and friends in the world. There were a few tears and LOTS of hugs. What a sweet time.
