Any of you e-reader-people out there interested in a free book?
I was lurking around on Laura Christianson’s Blogging Bistro, and saw that authors Davis Bunn and Janette Oke’s book: The Centurian’s Wife is being offered FREE to any of you Kindle or Nook owners.
I went to Davis Bunn’s site and here’s what he had to say:
For a limited time, Amazon.com is offering a free Kindle download of The Centurion’s Wife, Book 1 in the Acts of Faith series I co-authored with Janette Oke.
If you don’t own a Kindle, you can still download and read this book for free by installing the Kindle application to your PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, or Windows Phone 7. (You’ll save $13.99!)
The final book in this 3-book historical fiction series, The Damascus Way, is hot off the press — released January 1, 2011. If you haven’t yet read the series, now would be the perfect time to read them all at once.
I sat in on one of Davis Bunn’s classes at Mount Hermon a few years ago. He’s a gifted writing teacher. Fiction writer is not on my radar screen, still, I could clearly see why he has such a following of writer-groupies. He’s good…really good.
What are you waiting for? Download your free book today.
And, don’t say I never gave you anything!
