When my husband Paul was going through law school, he needed a place to study. Our children’s play room was transformed to accommodate his needed space.
I still remember the first time he walked down the hallway into his new digs. Clad in an old sweatshirt and jeans, his fists raised high above his head, as he yelled, “Sanctuary!” walking in triumph with each step. The kids loved it. They laughed and giggled, thinking he sounded just like Quasimoto from their favorite Disney movie “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”
