Writing this chapter has been incredibly difficult, so much harder than I’d thought it would be.
Leaving a legacy is something that is near and dear to my heart too. I personally don’t understand parenting without a sense of the imprint you are making on your children’s lives.
Paul felt that our children will determine our legacy. Basically, no matter what we do, they will have the last say.
Which is true…but…
Like many of you, I believe that what I do now and what I make important in my life, will be more than likely, what they make important in theirs.
My legacy casts a shadow on all that I do as a mom.
I can’t help it, it’s how God has wired me.
