When I began blogging, Thankful Thursdays was the first meme that I ever participated in. Little did I know then, that Iris, the author of Sting My Heart, would be someone the Lord would use to encourage my writing.
In April of last year, it was Iris who stopped by my blog to announce that I had won the Laced with Grace scholarship to the She Speaks conference in North Carolina. A few months later, it was Iris who answered my prayer when she emailed me, asking me if I’d consider writing for Laced with Grace, the very day that I had shared with my husband Paul how much I would love to write for them.
All this to give you a little behind the scenes look at why Iris is so very special to me.
