The Mean Mom’s Guide to Raising Great Kids encourages overly nice “marshmallow” moms to instill a few much-needed boundaries. From sibling rivalry to entitlement, from faith to Facebook, discover how to parent when it’s hard. Find ways to instill respect in your child and learn to stand your ground when your child doesn’t like you for it.

A mean mom keeps her word when it’s difficult, knows her child’s friends and where they live, and can tread water longer than her kids can make it rain. She encourages openly, loves passionately, and knows being called mean is oftentimes a compliment.

This March, The Mean Mom’s Guide to Raising Great Kids will find its way into your local bookstore and favorite online book sellers shelves–and I can’t wait! I understand how hard parenting is and believe this book will give moms tools to help embrace standing your ground when you want to throw in the towel.
