What’s the most romantic thing your spouse has ever done for you? Barbara Rainey asks this question today over at Family Life.
It got me to thinking of all the ways my sweetheart of a man has blessed me with all things hearts and chocolates.
For us gals, romance comes pretty easy. I can think of a trillion-zillion things my husband could do to gain Romeo-status. After fifteen years together, It’s actually quite painful for him. He just doesn’t think that way. Sigh… So, whether your married to a Fabio, or a husband who feels bullied by Hallmark and strong-armed by St. Valentine, I’m having a giveaway.
Comment below to be entered once, blog about this on your site to be entered twice. Then make sure to come back on Monday for the winner of a $10 Starbucks card and a signed copy of Continents Apart.
Continents Apart,, is out on shelves now.
Odette Peterson has a clear understanding of where the Lord wants her, and that’s in the African missionary field. When she meets veteran missionary, Xavier Sand, she embraces their budding relationship. He’s everything she’s wanted in a man: Christian, kind, and a man who’s dedicated his life to ministry. But when he insists she put aside her evangelization efforts and join him in Japan, she finds she must let Xavier go.
Across three continets, and with others vying for their hearts, Odette and Xavier must learn to trust that God knows what’s best for their futures…even if that means they will never be together.
I’ll be interviewing author, Dana Sudboro, here on Monday. A former missionary, he weaves a story of love that spans the continents. It’s not often you read a romance novel by a male author. He is gifted not only in his wordsmith abilities, but as a Professor at Epic Bible College in Sacramento.
