My sister and her husband came home this morning after being at the hospital, to find this lovely large oak tree on their doorstep. Thank the Lord that with all of the different branches, not one window was broken. Their three daughters were home at the time and were a bit shaken up.
The weather here has been really awful. The winds were so bad, they kept Paul and up all night last night. At one point when he rolled over and I knew he was awake I groggily sang, “The weather started getting rough,The tiny ship was tossed, If not for the courage of the fearless crew,The minnow would be lost, the minnow would be lost…”
He never replied.
This is my sister attempting to lift the tree off of her house. The wind was so strong it was driving the rain sideways. She was screaming and laughing as she was getting soaked. We were laughing so hard.
We are a bit off kilter like that.
