Our family is preparing for our cross-country road trip to Nashville. Destination? The MOPS International Convention at the Grand Ole’ Opry! I can’t wait. We were in Nashville last fall and loved it. Did I say loved it? I’m sorry. I meant to say, WE LOVED IT!
National author and speaker, Kathi Lipp, has taken me and adorable new-mommy author, Erin MacPherson under her wing (we all share the same literary agent, Rachelle Gardner) and is letting us share her book table. Kathi is more than kind. If you haven’t read any of her books, maybe it’s time you did. She loves Jesus and shares lots of been there-done that wisdom. Plus, her sense of humor is like homemade chocolate icing on the cake.
Apparently, there will be over 4,000 moms in attendance. It’s going to be spectacular. The lineup of speakers is incredible. Click here to see the list. The musicians that will be there? Sara Groves. Travis Coltrell. Steven Curtis Chapman. Mandisa. Lots of Christian authors too. I’m especially excited about Jon Acuff, the author of Stuff Christians Like. Hilarous.
Did I mention that Kathi is the main speaker alongside Max Lucado?
I know, right?
I told Paul, “I might get to meet Max Lucado!?”
Paul said, “Max Lucado might get to meet Joanne Kraft.”
I love that guy.
Sounds fabulous! If my littlest wasn’t starting kindergarten this year, I might have made the trip with our MOPS team.
So neat to see how God is pulling things together with your book, promotion opportunities, etc. So fun to watch you on this journey!
Blessings,
Mary Hampton
Joanne, I’m seriously teary-eyed for you. This will change your life! Finally the world will know Joanne Kraft. Paul’s right!
I’m SO excited….
I will be praying for you friend! I pray you see God’s favor the entire trip…think how much Ruth was blessed when she got to her destination?? Wish I could be there helping you sell your books but with that line-up AND all your family-hope you have lots to sell!! XOXO
