Quite a few years ago, I discovered a free downloadable Thanksgiving print. I printed off five copies. One for me and each of my kids. Check out those incredible turkeys to your left, there. Picasso doesn’t hold a candle to the talent in my gene pool.
My four children were still pretty young. But, I thought it would be fun to let them color in their turkeys and write down all the things they were thankful for. The older children wrote things like; fishing and fairy tales, while hot dogs and oranges made it on the list of our younger two.
They are so funny to bring out each year.
I came across this FREE printable gratitude journal from Living Well – Spending Less. It would be such a sweet thing to have out on Thanksgiving Day for your guests, no matter what their age.
Don’t forget to include some colorful pens (washable, of course!) and let your company pass them around or take them home as a souvenir.
Need a little holiday encouragement? Keep it simple. Keep it real. And, make this day about what it should be about…God, family and our gratefulness for both.
