Let me guess. You’re a busy mom, right?
I speak your “busy” language, my friend…more than you know.
Since I can’t put my arms around you or make you a vanilla latte and chat for hours, I’d love to give you a FREE leader’s guide and do the next best thing -send you a signed copy of my book.
What’s the hook?
Sign up for my newsletter and leave a comment below to enter. That’s it.
I’ll announce two winners this Friday. May the busiest mom win!
*Make sure to stop by my book picks for January!
Am I already on your newsletter list? I have a signed copy (a treasured possession!) and a Kindle edition. So, if I win a copy, I’ll be giving it to a friend.
Just listened to your radio program. We took a year off of “individual” activities but my kids are younger years 3-8 so it was easier. It has been wonderful to not be in such a hurry 🙂
Blessings
Harmony
Yay! Congratulations Harmony. That’s fantastic. Way to go mom!
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to win your book. As a mother of four, I know a few things about buys!
Four boys! Wow. So, when are you writing a book? 😉
I just listened to you on Focus on the Family! What an eye-opener! Two years ago, I decided I was too busy and gave up many of the volunteer positions I was involved with. The show today made me realize – “it’s not just me that is busy! It’s our family and we need to slow down and refocus.” I can’t wait to read your book for more inspiration!
Thanks Eden. Looks like great minds think alike!
Awesome interview! Don’t include me in the give-away as I already have it. Just wanted to give you a thumbs-up on the interview.
You’re the best.
Just heard you on the radio, too.
🙂 Thanks for writing a book like this!
You are so welcome, Andrea!
Thanks for the chance to win!
Thanks for your interview and sharing your story on Focus!
I heard you on the radio! I just started a book club and this would be AWESOME to win!!! We could read your book! I hope hope hope I win!!!! I LOVE the concept and you are SO darn funny! Thank you for sharing! Can’t wait to read the book!
Thanks Michelle!
I just heard you on Focus on the Family today. Your message spoke to my heart! I’m a full time working (out of the house) mom with two kids under 5. We aren’t yet involved in many “activities” but I’m planning ahead so we don’t get sucked in to that crazy cycle!
Lindsey you’re one smart mom! Start while they’re young and they’ll never know what hit them.
I am normally in the middle of a BUSY morning at the middle school I work at, but today I had to leave work to take my daughter to have 3 teeth removed. On the way to her school your interview came on. It caught my attention and certainly got me thinking about my own family. Once back at work a coworker and I discussed your interview. She was very interested. We both feel we would benefit from your book and plan to purchase it.
Thank you for sharing your heart in a very REAL way.
You are very welcome, Karen. So glad I gave you and your girlfriend some food for thought. Sure hope your little one is feeling better today.
I miss the luxuries of showers everyday and time for painting my nails. Homeschooling, a single mom of 3 and two kids with special needs leaves me exhausted.
Oh, goodness girl, you are DEFINITELY in need of some quiet time. Hang in there Valari. Praying for you tonight.
So I have this lifelong struggle with over-commitment. I play busy mom’s poker every day even admitting my displeasure with my family’s schedule and my strong desire to get out from under this weight…this burden of living in a constant state of hurry and stress. I feel trapped as my dreams of actually enjoying being with my family taunt me while the days and months and years go by. I just sent a text to a friend this morning asking for prayer over these very issues and then pulled up my FOTF app to listen in while I dressed for the day. And there was your broadcast!! God is so faithful and timely in my life. Praying for courage to obey Him and pull the plug on the crazy in our schedule so we can experience real peace and togetherness!! Thank you for your example!!
You are speaking my language Brandi. I used to do things, get overwhelmed by whatever and then angry no one was helping me. Change begins with you. Maybe you need to do something radical this year? 😉
Yesterday’s broadcast on Focus on the Family was excellent. What a way to start off the New Year! I just wanted to say thank you! There were many things said yesterday that really spoke to me. I’m looking forward to your newsletter and I’m ordering the book today! Keep speaking to us busy moms and keep reminding us to keep life intentional!
Awww, thanks Leslie. Your words mean alot. Grateful for moms like you.
Joanne, I listened to your Focus on the Family discussion last night with my son and it meant so much. I am currently studying to be a health coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where the focus on primary foods such as family relationships and spirituality are considered as important if not more important than the food we put in our mouths. We eat together and pray together as family at least once a day and your discussion just confirmed what I already knew – to keep perservering even though we are not the “typical” family. 🙂 God Bless You!
Your words ‘meant so much’ to me, Emily. Happy to hear you’re persevering! Other not so ‘typical’ families are watching. Keep encouraging them!
“Just too Busy” pretty much sums it up. Thanks for the opportunity to learn through your book!
My pleasure, Vivian.
I enjoyed hearing you on the Focus on the Family broadcast this week. I went to your website to sign up for your newsletter, and I was pleasantly surprised to see the offer of a free copy of your book. I have 3 children (ages 11, 15 and 17) and all three have special needs. Our 17 year old is in rebellion and I really sense that time is running out for us to help her. I am not sure if we can pull her back into the fold, but we are trying. When I heard you speak, I was thinking a radical sabbatical might be the answer. I know we need something radical. All the typical ways have failed. Thank you for writing this book.
Kids will live through ‘Radical’. More families need to make that their mantra for 2013. Your kids will survive. 🙂
I heard you on Focus on the Family this week and I am so loving the concept of busy mom’s poker! It’s so true! I am excited to read your book! I am interested in talking to you about your speaking schedule! I will send you an email. Praying for you and your ministry! Blessings!
Got your email Marita. I’ll be in contact with you this week. Thank you so much for the kind words! Nice to meet another busy-mom-poker player!
