I’m a wannabee. How’s that for authentic?
Anyone who knows me, knows I desire to live in the south. As a born and bred California-girl, that’s blasphemy to some ears around here. I am drawn to their slower pace, small-town hospitality, large front porches and sweet tea.
With the kids gone this week, I’ve been able to fall down a few blog-bunny holes. You know what I discovered?
Even the blogs I visited were from the south.

This summer our family is planning on visiting Tennessee for the first time. I’m looking forward to it.
Not sure if they’ll be waiting with open arms for a California girl who doesn’t know where to place her shrimp fork. But, at least it will give me a chance to see if I’ll truly miss Trader Joe’s and In n’ Out burger.
