On a perfect morning, I send the children off to school and have my quiet time. What quiet time? Yeah, it can be tough some days. On those special days when breakfast is over and backpacks have been stuffed with lunches and homework – I sit in my soft, comfy chair with a latte and meander through the Word, and scribble a page or two in my prayer journal. As a Christian woman, I know the importance of spending time with the Lord each day.
As a busy mom of four, I also understand all mornings are far from perfect. (Just ask my kids.) Life can be a crazy ride, especially when we desire to accomplish something.
